We can't go to Playa Del Carmen with out visiting the Mayan Ruin. We'll take a day trip to Chichen Itza which was one of the capitals of the Mayan Empire. We'll visit "El Castillo" the castle. And "El Caracol" the Snail and see where the Mayans devised a calendar more accurate than the one we use today.We look forward to our day being Ruined!

This unique dining experience complete with a live video feed from the kitchen offers guests the opportunity to interact with the resort's executive chef, Eugenio Villafaña and his team while enjoying dishes created exclusively for the Chef's Table. The bi-weekly culinary event invites epicureans to witness the making of a decadent tasting menu that changes each week and is solely designed fro the Chef's Table. Some of the delicacies are watermelon soup, shrimp tempura, mushrooms and lobster gratin with parmesan aioli. In addition, wine paring is also available to ensure that each dish is perfectly paired. Chef Villafaña brings more than 15 years of experience, and a focus on sustainability, raw foods and fresh, local ingredients. He was named Embassador Chef of Nayarit State Cuisine by the governor for his work researching and implementing the pre-Hispanic gastronomy of the region.
