We met through Match.com a couple years ago.  I intitiated the first move by sending Dana a wink, I had looked through her profile and liked what I read and of course right off the bat I liked her picture.  The goofy thing was after I winked at her she winked back, we still were not able to meet each other because of a horrible cold she was battling.  Finally, after a couple weeks of texting and quick phone conversations we were finally able to meet each other for the first time.  We ate at Longhorn's Steakhouse and caught a movie right afterwards...there was a connection right away.  We continued to see each other and talk to each other as much as possible as our relationship blossomed.  So here we are planning a wedding together super excited to spend the rest of our lives together being happy.

Dana was proposed to on Easter Sunday 2012.  The idea was to hide the ring inside an easter egg and hide the egg in the yard and when she found it and turned around I would be down on one knee ready to propose.  Things went a little differently and instead I hid the egg with a note asking "Will you marry me?" and when she found it I was down on one knee with the box open and the ring inside...just in case you were wondering she did say yes when I asked her lol.  So after the first attempt of her mother taking the pictures when we saw they were blurry we actually had to walk through the whole proposal a second time, a nice unique little twist but still funny in it's own way.

Our wedding will be held on April 27th, 2013 at the Dresser Mansion in Tulsa, OK.  We knew as soon as we saw this place and received the tour that this was going to be the place we would tie the knot.  We will be having an outdoor ceremony and will enjoy the company of as many family and friends as possible.  We have chosen four very special people to stand beside us as we get married.  Those people are: Chris Straight and Jessica Straight, Steven Sanders and Amy Sanders and we thank all of them for being there for us on our special day.

We are planning to go to Sabor Cozumel Resort in Mexico.  This is an all inclusive resort and has many different activities to offer in our time there.  Neither one of us have ever been to Cozumel, Mexico and are super excited to experience everything the resort has to offer.
